Extinction Rebellion (XR) Calgary Rallies to Reject the proposed Teck Frontier Mine “Carbon Bomb”
Wednesday January 22, 11:00 – 1:00 pm at the Teck office, 205 9 Ave SE, XR Calgary will send a clear message that we reject the Teck Frontier Mine.
In solidarity with Indigenous Climate Action, Beaver Hills Warriors, Keepers of the Water, Climate Justice Edmonton, Oil Change International, CPAWS Northern Alberta and other organizations, XR Calgary rejects the creation of a toxic waste site half the size of Edmonton and new greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to 10 million new cars on the road.
